FOREVER FRIENDSHIP

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend;

Someone who changes your life just by being part of it.

Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop;

Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world.

Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it.

This is Forever Friendship.

TREASURE WHAT YOU HAVE NOW

You have what you want know but do you treasure them? Fathers' day, mothers' day, birthdays, wedding's anniversary it goes on and on.

Nowadays, I wonder how many of us really treasure what we have.

Well this is a true story.

A boy (Andy not his real name) came forward to me and ask if he could have a talk with me. Me as usual always wanting to help ( or what people used to say "busybody") and of course my answer is "YES".

Here is our conversation.

Andy: "Why does a person has to die?" "Is it true that when you curse a person, the person will die?"

Me: "What have you done?"
Andy: "I tell him to go to hell and he died."
Me: "When was that?"
Andy: " Last year?"
Me: "Isn't it what you want? You ask him to go to hell and then he goes. What do you really
want?"
Andy: "Yes and No. I want him to go to hell because he scolded me and keep asking me to go to
school, study, tuition, help do this, do that huh!. Now I want him back because
my friends have fathers and mothers. I have only my mother."
Me: "Where is your mother?"
Andy: "She is busy working. She does not work when my father is alive and now she does not
have time for me."
Me: "Isn't it good that you can have all the time of your own without anyone hoovering over
you?"
Andy: "At first it was heaven, but now its pressure. No one helping me as mum is tired when
she return from work and we have to eat out most of the time."
Me: "Well"
Andy: "Now it is dull and quiet at home."
Me: "Andy, what is gone is gone. People died when they are old or very sick. We must
always remember that we have to treasure what we have today or it will be too late.
There is no other love greater love then our parents' love. Your mother is trying her
best to give you what you want. Tell your mother that you love her and you want to
spend time with her. I am very sure that she will be very happy."

This conversation of mine with Andy does not ends here. In fact Andy introduces me to his mother. At this moment of time Andy is still learning as to how to respect and repay his mother.
Know what, Andy's school exam results improves a lot and now he is aiming to achieve straight "A" for his coming SPM.
